Clothing addiction

I have 6 pairs of grey work trousers. 6. I just can't walk past a nice pair of grey trousers without buying them, it appears.

In my younger, more Gothy years it was black basques. I must have had 10 different ones.

What's your clothing addiction?

Bras and jeans, it always has been the same.

puglife15 · 01/08/2016 19:45

Grey jumpers and white dresses. I love a white summer dress. Least practical item of clothing ever though with 2 small kids.

RebelandaStunner · 01/08/2016 23:25

Jackets- I can never have too many.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 02/08/2016 10:33

Hoodies. Ones that a teenage boy would be happy with. I need to stop it.

In fact, I am addicted to all clothes because I never had any as a teenager; my mum wouldn't buy me anything or replace things. I had one pair of jeans, a couple of t-shirts and two jumpers. Try not getting picked on. As soon as I started earning my own money, I started clothes shopping. Now I have a phenomenal amount :-(

YvaineStormhold · 02/08/2016 10:35

Jeans.
Bretons.
Grey jumpers.

YvaineStormhold · 02/08/2016 10:35

God, and converse. Completely addicted.

I have confessed on another thread to having about 30 pairs of Cons. I love them. I know a lot of people find them too flat but if you've got narrow feet, they're great. My latest acquisition is a pair of teal green suede Chuck-lo ones with matching rubber and laces Smile

ephemeralfairy · 02/08/2016 17:54

Flat shoes with ankle straps and pointy toes.

ephemeralfairy · 02/08/2016 17:55

Oh and blingy gold jewellery. Chains, pendants, brooches and especially hoop earrings.

BestIsWest · 02/08/2016 17:56

Cardigans here too. None of them are right.

ephemeralfairy · 02/08/2016 17:57

And ANYTHING leopard print. Trousers, skirts, dresses, cardis, umbrellas, bags, socks, knickers, bedding, pyjamas....
I treat leopard print as a neutral Grin

At the moment it's sandals. Flat sandals that go on my wide feet. They are my favourite type of footwear, but unfortunately there are so few days in a year that are sandal weather they just keep accumulating. I don't think I've ever worn a pair out.... I've bought 3 new pairs this year, and I've just had another 2 pairs delivered to work (if I'm being good, I will have to return some....) But I do still need one more pair, as my tan ones could really do with replacing.... And I've just read a thread on here that reminded me about comfy hush puppies, so went to browse their website and ended up putting 3 sale pairs in my virtual basket.... Confused

Bretons
Black smart trousers, none of which are quite perfect...

PhyllisWig · 02/08/2016 21:30

Navy work trousers - go through loads of them and they are never perfect. Necklaces but only cheap costume ones. I have a boxful.

PeppasNanna · 02/08/2016 21:33

Jeans & navy tops...
I don't know how many I own!

NancyJoan · 02/08/2016 21:35

Navy jumpers.

AmberNectarine · 02/08/2016 21:49

Expensive bodycon party dresses.

I do go out more than your average mother of two, granted, but I'm not a 3am girl as my wardrobe would suggest.
