Has anyone had laser treatment for sun pigmentation?

sorry to not answer the question you are asking but..my friend has had dermabrasion on her face for excessive sun pigmentation/damage-she looks amazing now, even skintone and lovely smooth skin.(she is fifty)
I don't know costs/ how long it lasts-presume once the pigmentation is gone, if you stay out of sun and use total sunblock it stays gone for good?
maybe worth a look into?
