Bra straps constantly slipping down grr!

Please tell me, is the entire fit wrong on me or the quality of bra poor?
It feels snug on the back and boobs fill the cups ok but within 10 mins the straps slide down on both sides.
It's a John Lewis own brand, cost nearly £30 and has only been hand washed a few times.

I will do. I am going to sort out my mum and sisters now.
When I first looked on the better bra site I didn't read it all properly and rushed it so got confused but thank goodness you's were there to help!

And now my boobs are in the right place I can go clothes shopping and not dread when I put dresses on, as before I always looked a bit rubbish.

I know I've said it loads but thank you again!

Furball and StatisticallyChallenged you both deserve medals Smile

Confused quick question....

When you measure bent over, do you measure tight an squish 'em at all or do you take the measurement from where they hang Grin

I thought that must of been the case curvy as you said about GG and H etc and then when you posted the measurements it didn't add up Smile

StatisticallyChallenged · 19/06/2015 19:17

36FF/G as a start point

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 19/06/2015 19:11

Thank you so much. I didn't bend down the first time I did my boobs but have, just now and its almost 45 inches! So I think that makes me a 36F or FF?

StatisticallyChallenged · 19/06/2015 18:59

Grin Furball

Curvy, a 36K is designed for someone measuring roughly 36 under, 51" over. Your measurements suggest more like a 36E/F!

curvy don't forget to scoop

i've copied and pasted - take your right hand, put it round inside the left cup, all the way round under your armpit, and scoop all the soft tissue and flesh in to the cup. You might not know it, but all that soft tissue under your armpit is breast, and it needs to be in the cup. Now, repeat on the other side.

Phew statiscallychallenged thank god you're here, I've been doing my best to fill in, hopefully you can take over now Smile

Yes furball I did. Thank you I will try that

OP I'd suggest trying a 30DD (since a 32d works cup wise). The cup measurement is more approximate so needing 1 less than you measure is not unusual

I have bought a 32dd bra from M&S today, usually wear 30E, had cotton in it.

I am a size 16 and wear a 34

If anyone has a bravisimo near them the best advice is to go there

M & S, etc use the very wrong add 4 inch method which completely cocks it all up

for example if you measure say 36 round you are a 36, not a 40 Hmm

Those measurements would make you somewhere around a 36E

Did you measure as per this guide

Hello. Please can some of you help? I measure 37 under my bust and 43 inches on my boobs. I have been out and tried triumph and m and s today and nothing feels quite right. I have tried 36GG, 38G, 38GG 36 and 38 H, 36 J and K. I have been on the better bra site but still find it all so confusing! I am currently wearing bras in sizes 40-42 DD and am a size 16-18.

Yep, happens to me too. Recently bought new bras and the straps loosen over the course of the day. I adjust them numerous times throughout the day but to no avail. Drives me mad.
