Looking for something nice and comfortable ... ideally not a suit but it's a black tie wedding so maybe he has to wear one? Trying to avoid horrifying the bride with my social etiquette inadequacies ????

Thanks

Have a look at monsoon, we got married in may and I got my boys outfits from thete, comfortable and smart and sweet, also m&S and next.

My youngest and my nephew had a shirt with a little bow tie, velcro up ones and a waistcoat.

Or this, depending on what the fabric was like.

Probably 18-24m as he's a little chubb!

Am wary of anything all white, the child is a magnet for dirt.

What sort of budget Betti? Would he need an 12-18 months or 18-24 months, size wise?

Bride cheerfully opted out of this one as long as he looks 'respectable' ...

Isn't the bride choosing/buying it?

Esp if it's black tie, that means tux/sailor suit which usually means made to measure.

Sailor suit would probably be traditional. wouldn't it? Or maybe a formal white romper.

Have you asked the bride / groom if they'd something in mind?

Surely the bride would choose?

But if she's handed the whole shebang to you, then the safe, trad, posh choice would be a sailor suit.
