Can we talk about eyebrows and eyebrow pencils please?

My eyebrows have become very sparse at the inner (nose) end and I'm having to bulk them up a bit. Tried eyeshadow at first but it wasn't doing the job so bought an eyebrow pencil and brush from Shavata (sp?) in HoF when I was having them threaded. I am sure I probably go out with lopsided eyebrows every morning - any tips please? Also, pencil recommendations - this one is disappearing at a rate of knots as I keep it sharpened!

Thanks

Cheeseboard, Claire Hobson did them. Went to a lot of consultations before I chose her, she's flippin amazing, a trainer within the industry. Expensive though, but she is tattooing your face so didn't go for the cheaper options! X

Boujois twisty pencil is great - also available on 3 for 2 offer at Superdrug. Has transformed my eyebrows.

I swap between a Chanel eyebrow pencil and an Estee Lauder one. The Estee Lauder one gives a softer look.

hey BotoxBitch where did you get your brows done?

The Tom ford one is fantastic but pricey. It's angled and has a sharpener built in to the other end so you can keep the angle. I've had my current one almost a year and use it every day, it's still going strong.

I use this Collection Work The Colour Kit from Boots, which is brilliant value at just £3.99. It has an angled stiff brush, a little mirror compact, and a clear setting gel to brush on afterwards. I had only ever used pencils before, but this is a gazillion times better.

The YBF one was my favourite for ages, but for me, nothing beats Suqqu's brow powder, topped off with a bit of MAC's clear gel. It's the most unusual colour I've ever seen - looks sort of khaki green in the palette, but becomes amazingly natural on the brow area if you're dark-haired, as I am. The brush in the palette is small but deceptively accurate, too, and you get two more colours in the kit to do a quick eyeshadow look with. It's spenny, but it lasts for absolute eons and doesn't have the drying out/sharpening problem of other methods. Had my latest one for about four months now and it looks barely used.

i use a Clinique one - I have very dark brows & use the nearly black.

Rimmel one in Hazel - never found anything better.

I use the mac brow set - great for thickening and then I fill in at the edge with mac brow marker. I've found these much better than pencils which tend to just rub off for me.

The new L'loreal brow plumper wand thing is great. Good blonde match for me and lasts all day. £6.99

I have a little kit from Sleek that has two creamy/waxy colours and two brushes (one angled one more rounded) for application.

I used to favour the MAC one but it does come out quite heavy. My absolute favourite, but very pricey, is the Kevin Aucoyn one from Space NK. It's very hard so you can draw on quite natural hair like strokes.

I've not tried the Rimmel one. I may check that out as I have found that I now prefer their liquid liner to many high end brands, and I've tried my fair share!

Oooh catseyes10 I have the ybf eyebrow pencils too. I was a bit dubious at how it was meant to suit all colours but it does and it's far more natural than the Boots one I had.

I used to use a Laura Gellor pen but it ran out and I was searching for something new.

I have the Benefit Gimme Brow but it takes more effort to get it right.

I use a kit from ELF. It has an angled brush with which you apply the colour then a softer brush for powder.

Another vote for rimmel dark brown. Looks very natural and not reddish.

I use a Clinique eyebrow pencil that twists up.
Have bought it over and over again
Never found one that's as good.

I've got the soap and glory one. It's like a fine felt tip on one end and a wind out smooth pencil on the other. Absolutely love it and it's now in my essentials kit!!

Soap & Glory do a great eyebrow pencil called Arch de Triumphe. It has a highlighter at one end too.

My eyebrows are sparse at the outer third. You just use light strokes & therefore avoid the "drawn on" look.
