Has anyone seen a loose summer dress, a tan bag that isn't leather and has no branding, and knows what I can do with my hair?

Just a quick list really Grin. . .

I saw a woman yesterday who was lovely - she seemed my height and weight (5ft 4", 12/14) but looked a million times better. I don't even know what to search to find the dress she was wearing - I've trawled a few sites, but nothing yet. It was just below her knees, very loose, patterned, quite deep v front, not sleeveless as such but the looseness of it it may have meant it was (if that makes sense). She had a tan and flat sandals and just looked great. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

I'm also looking for a slouchy tan bag, non leather, no obvious branding, silvery rather than gold buckles etc if they're seen. TK Maxx had a few but just as I'd get excited, I'd turn them round and they'd all have a name on them Sad.

Last thing at the moment - my hair used to be naturally crinkly, not curls as such, but I'd just wash, scrunch with some product and it would be lovely. Of course, I hated it then so I GHDed the buggery out of it. Now, I want it back. If I spend ages, ladle products on, blow dry with a diffuser, I can sort of get it OK, but after a while, the ends stick out straight and it just doesn't last. I've tried Curly Girl Method but I was never a proper curly girl to start with, so that's not working. Would - whisper it - a 'loose perm' be a terrible thing to get me back on track? Have they changed since I was young?

Many, many thanks for any words of wisdom.

Not quite the thing tethersend Sad.

That's nice margaritas but I'd wear that with opaques rather than flitting about in the sun (which will have gone by the time I find this bloody dress). . .

I tried that kimono on yesterday. It was beautiful on the hanger but cut very strangely, coming in at the bottom, so I found it very unflattering on.

That Plumo one is the closest shape by far (without the tie belt) - but far too expensive and not the right colour.

I'm keeping you all from the sunshine aren't I? but Thanks !

Wrap often has dresses in that loose style you describe although I don't think any of their current offerings look exactly like the right thing. Maybe past season though?

I have no idea what an ovoid dress is, but, again, close - if longer, no v back, and bright summer colour/pattern:

There are some really nice things here - but still not it Sad. I'm now going to ask everyone wearing something I like, for the rest of my life, where they got it.

It was very very shapeless, I don't think it went 'in' anywhere. I'm convinced it's Zara now, but can't even find on ebay. I reckon if you laid it out flat, it would just be a big rectangle with a deep v in front. I really do appreciate all your help though.

Madaboutthrows - I need the bag to be non-leather I'm afraid.

found it but it was not loose enough, looked different on the hanger so won't bother linking .

There was a similar one in M&S in grey but it had a ruched bit of elastic under the bust. will have a look and see if I can find it.

This is quite close but would need to be more substantial material - not thick fabric, but not chiffon. The shape is almost there:

That second Mary Portas one is close - you're very good! Grin

I can't/don't wear pink and it needs to be v neck, but this is like having a personal shopper that I feel brave enough to say 'no' to . . .

It wasn't like any of those tethersend but I've ordered the first two as they're really nice, so thank you!

It was completely shapeless I guess - but much better than that sounds. It sort of draped over her, no belt, and seemed very casual. I'm guessing past season Zara but can't find on ebay.
