All I want is a non-padded bra for my small boobs!

That's it really. I'm a size 34A, and need some new bras.

I'm not a fan of padded, I'd just like some cotton bras.

Tried both M and S and House of Fraser yesterday, and although both had mountains of bras, they are all padded unless you get towards a DD.

I'm perfectly happy with my small boobs, and don't wish to pad them out. I just want a new bra.....!

Any pointers?

I am (I think) very small of boob, yet I wear 32dd thanks to the marvellous eye of Rigby & Peller staff. I think M&S had me in a 36A.

"Had a look online and nothing doing. So frustrating...there is clearly an opportunity for someone to start a specialist business."

I'm not sure the market for unpadded bras for small busted women is big enough. I am 32B and need the extra padding to add to my non existent curves. I suspect most women with similar dimensions would think the same.

Try a 30D/DD and a 32C/D.

Sorry, can I hijack and ask a quick q of you knowledgeable interventionists? I'm a bit confused - I measure 31 inches and 34.5 inches, what should my starting point be? Thank you Thanks

I think that's quite common with weight loss, they tend to bounce back. Mine do certainly!

Cool! I'm ok for bras now MadeInPreston have increased their range, but while my band size is remaining small (I lost a lot of weight), my frontage is -ahem- bouncing back. Each time I get a new bra, it's a cup size bigger. I worry that I'll run out of range soon.

Inmysparetime, while I see you here -I've had several people report that the tutti rouge range runs absolutely tiny in a 28 band. Apparently it's fine at bigger sizes but the 28 and to an extent the 30s are really really tight. I know you struggle so thought it might be worth mentioning.

Ooh! I love a good intervention. For context, my "barely a handful" rack is a 26G. M&S say this is not a real size, and that I must be more like a 32B. I walked out of there.

Bringbacksideburns---- m&s measured me as a 34a aa well. I am actually a dd.

I can virtually guarantee you are not a 34 back. I am a size 16-18 and I am a 30. Marks and spencers try to put me into a 34-36 F. I am a 30GG.

If M&S measured you as 34A, you are probably about 30DD.

I have helped fit a fairly large number of women now and even the flattest chested have been a C cup (in a 28 band).

Please stay away from M&S and BHS, they haven't a clue.

The M & S Angel (teenage) range are good - that's where I buy mine. Not overly girly in style, so an adult can wear them.

Yup, as ilovepowerhoop says marks and spencer are truly terrible. Most people who they say are an A cup, are in fact a DD or similar, bbut in a much smaller band size. They add 4" to your underbust (or 5 if you have an odd underbust measurement) which is outdated and frankly crap

M&S do not measure properly though so I would avoid being measured by them - they add 4 inches to the back size so giving a back that is too big and a cup that is too small (I imagine BHS measure the same way). Do you actually measure 34 inches under your bust? - if not then you are not a 34 back size.

Most men are bigger than an A cup! Hmm

Er...i'm 34A. Infact really according to M&S, I'm actually a 33 and a half cup! I'm not a man.

Like the OP i quite like it. I don't feel unfeminine because i dare to...gasp...be an A...and not have large or plastic tits.

In answer to your question OP i'd say Marks or maybe BHS.

Report
theidsalright · 29/07/2014 20:39

Haha, yes I did. It's between 32 and 33. V small! Am I 30b then?

30B - did you bend over for the second measurement?

Sorry to hijack but I read this thread as I've been tearing my hair out about bras. I've finally measured. Under breast was 30, on is 32. So what bra size am I?

I an a 20/22 and have a 36inch back so very much doubt that you have a 34inch back at a size 10/12. My 10 year old not very developed daughter has bigger than 1 inch difference between her under and over bust measurement. Why not measure and get a truer picture of your proper size.
