like BB cream but with more coverage?

I am a BB cream convert, and love the unfussy application and natural look.

However I would love a product that is similarly easy to apply but with a bit more coverage for when I want a more polished look.

I have about £25 saved up in Boots points, but will consider all suggestions even if it is more expensive or sold elsewhere.

Any recommendations?

Thanks Bodicea I will try and get a sample of this one too!

Googled Mac retailers in my area and unfortunately these are too far away too :(

Dior nude bb cream gives more coverage than most.

Mac face and body is truly amazing - one of my staples

Wow thanks for all the recommendations! I will definitely buy the Bourjois cc cream at the weekend and try and blag some clinique samples to compare.

Laura Mercier will have to wait until I take a trip to the "big city" :)

Another fan of the Bourjois CC cream. I like a really light coverage though so I do only use a tiny little bit. I use it on the parts of my face which have a tendency to be a bit red, and then use BareMinerals loose powder foundation on the rest of my face. If I wanted a more full coverage though I think it would be great for the whole face.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation gives a really light coverage and soft finish. I don't get on with most foundations but this one really suits me. Not too expensive either.

Face and Body is fab-and the more you work it the more it builds, so you can use a tiny amount but if you keep going over one area of your face with your brush that area will get a higher coverage without using any more product. It's magic!

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser here too - I use the oil free version and it's amazing. Just a tad more coverage than a BB cream, easy to apply, lasts well and looks great all day.

I recently bought the Mac Face and Body foundation and I must admit that I really like it. Buildable coverage so I can get a sheer coverage (similar to BB cream) and up to a light/medium coverage. It lasts so well on the skin and just makes my skin look much better than it does without makeup - but without the makeup look.
The texture is a bit watery so it might not be as easy and quick to apply as a thicker BB cream/tinted moisturiser - I use a brush and it takes me about 30 seconds or so to get the light/medium coverage.

I've been very impressed with the bourjois cc cream. Prefer to it to my LM TM if I'm honest.

I've got the Clinique CC cream too and love it.

I second Laura Mercier TM.

I quite often take a small amount of foundation and mix it with an illuminating/radiant primer (also Laura Mercier's as a matter of fact)-that gives a really nice glow and a little coverage which can be built up where necessary.

Just had a quick Google, my nearest Laura Mercier stockist is a 2h round trip :(

No7 natural foundation is very good and gives just a little more coverage than a BB cream. Ask to be colour matched.

I think I will write everything down and have a goos rummage through all the testers at Boots.

Clinique foundation and Bourjois Cc cream duly noted.

Any others?

The Bourjois 123Perfect CC cream is very good. Light like a BB cream but still gives a good buildable coverage. I bought it after it was recommended in a Lisa Eldridge video & haven't looked back!

I use a bb cream for all the reasons you state. Then I use a foundation and pat it over my problem areas. I've got the Clinique anti redness one which is very comfortable. That way I get the coverage where I want it but the light bb everywhere else. If I go out in the evening I mix some foundation with a spot of illuminating cream and use that which gives greater coverage and looks great in the evening.
