A challenge: plus size stylish good quality non-expensive clothes - any ideas?

I'm looking for new places to shop. Being 5ft 3 and a size 22 but still in my 30s is making shopping tricky. New Look and DPs do my size but I think I would look better in quality clothing. I've been shopping in M&S but there's not much that looks okay for me.

I can go up in budget, but when I've looked in House of Fraser / John Lewis the plus size clothes seem to be aimed at older women.

I realise it will be better when I'm slimmer, and I'm working on that.

I'm hoping that you wise S&B ladies will have some great suggestions for where to shop.

I'm a fan of Yours. Yes some of it is grim but they do have the odd gem and put together well some of it looks lovely. I especially like their basics like their tops and basic vest tops. Very good quality.

Boden has some nice stuff too. Worth a browse.

You might want to try Navabi if you''re looking for higher priced/designer branded stuff in plus sizes. Can't vouch for how good the delivery/service is myself as I can't afford to order from there, but there are some lovely things.

Have you tried the Very site? It's a wee bit hit and miss, but I got some lovely things on there when I was a 22. Monsoon does a limited range as does Debenhams.

Goodasitgets what style dresses did you get from Asos? I always think it comes up biggish. I'm a 24-26 but can still wear some of my Asos 22 skater dresses.

The H&M website has the biggest range. Also you can use it to find the stores that have the plus size range if you don't like online shopping. With H&M there are always codes you can find online to make cheaper so use them!

Asos curve is great but can come up small (I'm size 16 and my last two dresses from there were a 20)

Thank you! I'm feeling quite encouraged by this. I didn't know Mango had a plus size range and I hadn't heard of Wall of London. I'll have look at Asos Curve again, it's been a while. I'll look out for an H&M that stocks plus size, as our local one stopped doing so a few years ago.

Wall of London have a very particular style - love or loathe. Not cheap but they have a sale on at the moment.

Don't justify your size firstly.
Asos curve do lovely plus size clothes. Especially dresses.
H&M plus size range is very nice. Good for basics.
If you want higher end then the new mango Violeta plus size range is good quality and they have some gorgeous stuff. Good for workwear.
Red herring at debhanams have some plus size and that's modern, good quality.
