I have always been totally and utterly clueless about style and what suits me, and what's in fashion Blush

Never feel comfortable in the summer....

I am 5'2 and a size 16 at the moment (it's not my faaaaaauuuuult, been diagnosed with underactive thyroid which causes weight gain, and anyway am now at weightwatchers and losing a good few pounds, so there) lots of weight has gone on my tummy so if I'm not careful I can get one of those muffin tummys....have fairly big norks which mean I can look like Hattie Jacques (ooh matron) in anything too ruffley....am 38 but (ahem) often told I do look alot younger.

any thoughts?

am reporting in, have read with interest thanks cod! Sorry to not reply yesterday but had my annual evening out last night Grin

Went to Kew!! Bought the most lovely dress, deep v neck and a sort of A line skirt (I think), really nice and feel comfortable in it. Will be trying Laura Ashley as well....

also looking out for flattering trousers as well though don't want to go too mad cos of the weightwatchers thing, lost a few pounds this week!!!!! so don't want to buy stuff that will just not be useful if this carries on.

ta again all.

It is a funny shop Laura Ashley, every now and again I find something fantastic, two years ago I bought a beautiful black wool coat with a hint of sparkle but I have not seen anything I would wear in there for ages.

I used to find Monsoon was like that before all the boho chic kicked in and suddenly Monsoon was of the moment.

\link{http://www.bravissimo.com/bravissimo/\Bravissimo} good for the large-norked (but you need to go to a shop, at least the first time, to get measured properly)

hunker get yourself down to Rigby & Peller or failing that a really good underwear shop. You WILL have a gap, I tell you, it is probably lost due to badly fitted bra
