I have been a C before and after having dt's! thankfully they stayed the same really ..but only breastfed for a little as doing the two of them was too much work! (sounds awful) but my sister spends a fortune of bras so I know how you feel.. but then again I would love boobs that looked like hers they look great!

The cost of bigger bras is frustrating - I see Psycho coming back from shops with armfuls of pretty bras, and there's me with my 2 or 3 that fit well, that I spent a small fortune on from bravissimo. I shrank to a C when I finished bf DD, but went straight back up when I went back on the pill... intrigued to see what happens when I stop bf again, but I don't think that will be for a while.

God, I think these are vile. I know a 4 yo, he is the gentlest, sweetest child imaginable, he can read and he has lots of friends who are girls (including my 10 mo daughter).

He would be so upset if he saw this. Just hope he doesn't.

I know!!! Why buy them??? There is clearly a market for them though.

I think all children should wear stripes up until the age of at least 6 though, so I'm biased! Grin

flameboo I think your completly right about bra's.. I do feel a bit sorry for my sister she has to pay a fortune for 'pretty' bras in an E cup whereas if I am really desperate I can pop into primark and pick a few pretty sets up for a fraction of the price.
Slogans for kids is just wrong I think .. When they are a bit older they can wear what they like (slogan wise)
Saw a little boy no older than 18m yesterday with a top on that said ' When I am older, I will be in prison' ? ? ? why would you put that on your child?

I've also put on a stone (not so much fun), but everyone says I look healthier, so maybe I was too thin before and just didn't know it!!

Psycho

(PsychoFlame is a combination of Psychomum and Flameboo - but we're together right now and seems easier).

(Yes, we are sad enough to be on MN together Blush - using the defence of her being too sore to do anything much else Wink)

I am convinced that norks only count as big when you can't get every style of bra in your size (does that make sense)??

C is the perfect size - big enough for a cleavage, but small enough to get all the pretty styles and thin straps Grin

Not a fan of buying slogans for children - if they buy for themselves it is a different matter.

(thought I should join in with the topic at hand too Blush)

i thought going on the pill after dt's would make my boobs expand but it didn't just made me pile on three stone! which i have now lost thankfully plus more! So I have been shopping for bikini's too! Off to mexico wednesday CAN't wait!

I haven't been blessed with a plentiful norkage but I still think they are more feminine.

yes a lot of people say that about their stuff. I am ok though not very big breasted at all only a C cup so can get away with round next..where as my sister is an E and always looks nicer in a v neck.

I don't generally like the slogan tee's, but my 12yr old DD bought a fab one just specially to stop me nagging her.......

'life is too short to tidy my room.'

workedGrin!!!

yes i like a v neck for my big norks

The point is through Ricky gervais and D&G are just making the serious point that certain attitutes stink.

I like the stuff for me but wouldn't dream of putting it on my children.

madmarchhare · 02/06/2006 14:36

Never seen the junk food stuff before, just had a look and quite like it really. It is different to the slogan stuff though.

What I dont like though is that all the t-shirts are round neck. Much prefer a v neck, much more flattering Smile.

dh's dad buys little presents for the girls

t shirts with "princess in the making"

"girls rule"

even they make me feel uneasy

personally I don't really like slogan stuff and would never put my dt's in them. The only stuff I do like is the junk food stuff just because its more 'vintage looking' I wouldn't wear anything that said something like 'hey boys look at my tits' written across the chest!
