I need to colour my hair. What's currently acceptable? Or what do you fancy having done?

At the moment it's balayage brown and blonde and dip dyed with pink which has washed out.

It's long, bra strap length with shorter layers around my face and I can wear it curly or straight.

Any ideas? Or what hankerings do you guys have?

I'm about to dye mine grey/silver.... not sure if that is "okay"

Currently sat here dying my hair Morello Cherry but that's because I'm pretty boring and too scared to home dye anything more outrageous (blue black?!) and can't afford to go to a salon!

I'd love silver hair I've tried but it never looks right

you need a blue based toner oh and silver shampoo.
