Laser hair removal - has anyone tried it?

Am fed up with my extreme hairiness Sad - and wondering if I should save up and try some laser hair removal. I am quite fair with dark hair. My concern is - does it actually work ... or does the hair eventually come back. Has anyone out there had this treatment and did it work for you? If it did, how many treatments did you need?

Warning: if you’re very hairy you’ll need it repeated a LOT over the next few years, increasingly spaced out as things improve. It could take years to become permanent. Still worth it+++

i have used philips lumea ipl, i got the device on oct 2018 , i have done about 7 treatments , i can't see hair now, but there is still some light hair on some areas but i really don't care about them because no one notice them except me.
i found that Philips lumea bri956 and the new braun silk expert pro 5 pl5137 ipl are the best ipl in the market now, my friend used the new braun and she got great result after 6 sessions.
that was my experience with laser machines , i hope that help
thanks

womanwithoutaesong - I had mine done in Chester //www.thecheshireaestheticclinic.com. She's based in Beehive Healthcare. I was really happy, and she did me a special offer. She was quite mature not a young girl and really made me comfortable. The treatment was life changing for me and best money I have ever spent.

Familiarity with Iplaser Innovatione passed in the cabin. Master after epilation said that the Russian machine, was surprised. The result I was pleased, painless and even after the first sessions almost no hair. So I liked it.

I made the epilation laser procedure in several different salons. in the first one the cosmetician's qualification did not satisfy me she worked very unconfidently. in other salon the appliance looked old fashioned and unreliable. I have recently found a good specialist who works with a propriate laser epilator 1S PRO. Now I enjoy the procedures.

In the process of having my legs done, I'm so so so happy with the results. First 2 sessions I thought nothing was happening, but then after 4th I hardly have any hairs. I'm going to still have another 2 sessions as there are a few stragglers but I'm over moon with it

Yes, laser hair removal does work. There are a few requirements to get the best results. A couple of month ago, I did it. I made the leap and tried laser hair removal and it works now. Smile I have done this through Italian plastic surgery company www.korpo.com/why-korpo/ I really can't just imagine the results and have fear about what happens during the surgery. But now, after couple of months, I realized it was a good decision for me. Wine

I had my legs and bikini line done 3 years ago. Course of 6...£600
No hairs have grown back...fantastic
It didn't hurt at all..just quite time consuming.

One of the best things I ever did.

I had 4 sessions in 2011. While I was having them my hair looked sparser and I was really happy but as soon as I stopped going all my hair grew back. Now I am exactly as hairy as I was before. I am very pale with brown hair so thought it would work.

I went to a medical place too and received the treatments from a Doctor, it wasn't a small salon where you'd assumd they'd have a cheap or badly maintained laser.

I had it done in 2006 - fantastic results. I have fair skin & brown hair. I had armpits, bikini, ½ leg, upper lip & feet done. The bikini area I had treated has 3 or 4 rogue hairs which I shave off periodically, the same for my feet & legs. My upper lip was the least successful but I haven't had to bleach it since it was done. I started my treatment in the winter when my skin was at its palest. While you are having treatment you have to avoid the sun.
