Style and beauty

Could those of you who have a sense of style have a quick look at this coat?

Is it nice?
Or not?

I cannot tell, but am looking for a loooooong, warm winter coat, ideally water-resistent (which this one is).

Thank you for your opinions.
Oh, I am 5'6'', size 14, hour glass.

I would like to have Non-Black (too many black jackets/coats already).

Ok, I might just order it from Land's End and see.
I've decided dry and warm (wet coat can dry at home/work) are more important than stunningly stylish (what was I thinking anyway?? My figure was last stylish in the 50s Grin).

I quite like it depending on which colour you were thinking of? Black would be my preferred choice. It's not the most stylish garment in the world but surely in the cold wet weather practicality wins over style especially if doing the school run.

They do come up on ebay every now and then, but you do have to look out for them obsessively. I am trying to find one for my mum...

If they dont have your size on this link try the tresspass site itself. Its down with a rather lovely looking fur trim.

I will NOT wear an oven - even I have my limits Grin.

And I made Olivia larf, nay, ROAR

TNF coat seems to be worn by everybody and their dog around here; I am not looking for exclusivity, but...

The Merrell Haven is just not quite looooong enough I think, ends mid-thigh, doesn't it?

Ooh, the Trespass one might be a contender - thank you for linking, awsangel Smile.

Haaa, Maryz! How very appropriate given the OP's warmth requirements. Grin

I am no style maven but this looks practical. Not fashionable. And there are prolly better practical coats out there that are warmer. So it's a no from me. Sorry

Thank you Olivia Blush. I have my moments. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit and all that. I am meant to be tidying up. Someone tell me to get my lardy bum over to the dish washer.

And I meant vetoed Hmm

Not stylish, unless you're a coathanger and beautiful.

(Not saying you're not beautful, but it's very .... boring)

Hello, fellow short/plump person Smile - no, I have never been described as tall and slim. And even when losing weight I remain broad-shouldered/big-boobed and -bummed...

I suppose rather than looking for the ultimate fashion statement, I mainly want to be warm, not scare little children with how I look and not have people pointing and sniggering behind my back.
Oh my standards slip and slip!
