Best eyelid primer?

I need something to stop my eyeshadow creasing. I am using a Frontcover shadow base - but find it a bit 'draggy' when applying. Although it works well once on.

Is there a less draggy one out there?

On your recommendations, while shopping today I bought the Urban decay in Nude... wore it tonight for the first time.

Have to say... I LOVE it! My eye makeup stayed put and I look all sensible and sober (not smudgy and trashy) even at this late hour ... have realised am not drunken slattern, just needed the right product Grin

Thanks a bunchWink

Just to add, I tried to persevere with lemonaid, but it just kept on settling nicely into my wrinkles.

Barbara - the Eden shade of the urban decay primer potion is yellow toned and evens out skintone like Lemonaid, I often use that without any other shadow on top.

Sin is a kind of champagne coloured primer with more of a shimmer to it which does even out skin tone but looks more sheer than eden.

Barbara, the original one does not really have an effect on skin tone. You'd be better off using it with a neutral shadow on top - that will stay put all day, no creasing.

Chic, what is the Falsies mascara? Is it the Maybelline one? I usually buy Lancome, which is great, but can't afford that anymore and am on the hunt for something to replace it. I like a dramatic look but hate the caking and clumping you can get with cheaper brands. Is it easy to apply?

Or have I completely misread you, and you wear false eyelashes and mascara? :)

Hmm, def no creasing for me, I use a dior brush (given to me I hasten to add) to put it on, and it is brill. Lemonaid def worth trying instore, I use it during the day without shadow and then in eve with my loreal 'khaki' shadow and dark grey infallible eyeliner, falsies mascara, and have finally, finally found this to be my ultimate combination that gets comments too. Nice ones :o)

So UD fans. Can I use it without shadow on top to even out skin tone? Like Lemonaid is supposed to be good for?

i tried Too Faced Shadow Insurance, as I'd run out of UD, and it's nowhere near as good -you can't blend very well.

Reckon you've got Original then moonshine.

Thanks Pinot, glad it's not just me then!

New squeezy tubes? Why didn't anybody tell me that before?!

Thanks - will buy some more tomorrow.

Lemonaid creases on me too, Barb. Bastard stuff.

Don't you find the lemon aid creases Chici? I love the idea and the shade but just end up with a line above my eyelid. Am I doing something wrong?

The UD I use is in a lilac tube and called Eyeshadow Primer Potion. And yes the new squeezy tubes are so much better.

For me its benefit lemon aid - by a mile. I am medium/light complexion with blue eyes but this really is universal, and lasts all day - one tiny pot does me daily use for over 10 months x

Remus, I had a bit of an epiphany with Urban Decay the other day when I tried to replace my run out (and awkwardly shaped) primer potion and they've got squeezy tubes now which means no more wastage and hacking open the bottle shape.

The Urban Decay one is excellent but I've stopped buying it because I hate the design so much. Not yet found a replacement though.

Another one for urban decay: and if you want a bit of colour I recommend the urban decay primer potion in sin - makes eyes look nice and fresh too
