Botox and factor 50

I have been considering botox for some time and today went for an informal chat at a clinic.

Tomorrow I am booked in to see the consultant and if I am happy with what he offers then I can have the botox or go away to think some more.

I'll probably have it done.

I have a horizontal deep line that creams and peels have not eliminated. The crease is between my eyes. Eyessential is great for a temporary fix but I want the line gone permanently.

I was pleased when the woman said I don't need botox anywhere else. I have looked after my skin and face but this one line stands out.

I use moisturiser with spf15 and bb beblesh with spf25 but the woman said I should buy a separate factor 50 sunsceen and use it every day.

I have bought a factor 50 sun lotion today and will start using it.

Anyone else have good results with using factor 50? The woman said by using it, my skin will improve. I bought the factor 50 independently of the clinic.

I had it done. All went well. No bruising or muzzy feeling. Nice relaxing experience and pain very mild.

Go back in two weeks to see if top up needed.

Thank you amelia. I did wonder about its effectiveness. I will give it a go.

I am not telling anyone I am having botox and will see if anyone notices if I look 'well'.

I don't think you will find much difference between spf40 and 50.

I have used spf25 mainly for 20 years and have unlined skin at 55.
