What to dress preschool boy in for wedding? Help?

Not sure what to put my little boy in. Obviously need to dress him smart but don't want him to be so smart that it looks like he's part of the wedding party.

Never taken my children to a wedding before so new territory!

Would rather the clothes could be worn again and they can be a bit funky as I'm not that traditional. Help?

Jojomamanbebe has some cute shirts at the moment.
My ds has a blue elephant print one to wear with linen shorts.Nicer than it sounds.
He's 2 so wanted him to look smart/cute but be comfy at weddind too.

Chinos or new jeans. Linen-type shirt. Try H&M or Zara. Converse. Sorted,

Same goes for any primary aged boy.

Jo Jo Maman Bebe has linen trousers and waistcoats for little boys, and they have a sale on.

For my ds we did waistcoat(tartan but muted), White linen shirt, black trousers and Converse hi tops. He looked cool, and not too "done" and got lots of compliments (tho his behaviour was another story...) Smile

ties are tacky. Just read you are not "traditional" so no obviously not a jacket in that case. We are pretty preppy/smart as a family so DS is very excited with his jacket! It is not bulky. Someone else must agree as there seem to be an awful lot in Debenhams, JL etc.

I saw a little boy on his way to a wedding today and he looked lovely! He was wearing linen shorts, shirt and waistcoat and brand new navy converse with short white socks - very french.
