This is at the top of my budget for a quality everyday bag. I've only seen it online but am impressed by the reviews. Do you have any thoughts? Do any of you actually own it? Thanks so much.

I went to look at one of these yesterday as thought for a work leather bag price was a snip. Awful, dreadful, just not nice at all. Don't do it, looks like a plastic faux leather bag from peacocks Grin

..yes Anabella Oliver must be Isabella Oliver's sister! (I'd never heard of the company until your recommendation. Now I will always think about Madammecholet when I wear the dress)

tooworried Whoop whoop! The Isabella Oliver Wrap is the perfect go everywhere dress of all time for me....so glad you liked it - always a relief when you recommend something on here that people actually like it when it comes! Smile

Madamecholet - sorry to hijack a thread but I can't send you pm for some reason. I bought the purple wrap dress from AO. Absolutely stunning - thank you!

madamecholet will have to wait till August birthday to get Annina or Lucia, given how much I've spent recently and that am off to Italy in 3 weeks' time where will spend more!

Meanwhile, I'm tentatively thinking: tan Lucia, plus 'grey' snake Annina. Next step is to see snake Annina 'in the flesh'. My local suburban LKB doesn't have one, so will be looking when up in London for college later in week.

I have this one but the version they did a year or two ago, in an aubergine type colour. The bag is lovely and looks great, but I find the strap just slips down your shoulder if you're carrying something else. I've actually stopped using it for that reason and it's just sitting in the wardrobe.

Hi polyhmnia did you get the Annina in tan? What did you think colour wise??....

I have the same not very favourable impression of the Autograph bag as madameCholet. Not great leather. To be fair, when last looked it over had just come from drooling over the L K Bennett Annina, so not very fair comparison. The LKB one is more than 3x as much as the M and S one.

Thanks, Bellavita. I keep stroking it - must spray/weather-protect later - and smelling it!! :) I've never spent more than about £40 on a bag so had to take a deep breath but I looked at, felt and 'carried' loads before selecting this one. It's truly gorgeous :)

I don't need it for that usage, Animula: I think that was another person or thread. I want a bag that I'll use everyday (I'm a casual dresser - Boden / White Stuff) and this is just perfect!! :)

That's nice, doglover.
Is it large enough for laptop/A4 binders? And do you think the leather would lose its shape with such hard use (as carrying a laptop)?

I didn't like it...I've had a feel instore and its the hardest/stiffest leather and the bag has a weird opening, it kind of parts in the middle and has a small main compartment, which I didn't like....not big enough for me..... was not impressed. sorry.....

DId you read the reviews online? All amazing, and they are right!

Although the tan is the most practical and year-round, I must say the off-white colour is stunning and I feel great using it.

I have this bag in both colours Blush

I adore it for day to day use, perfect size to carry lots of stuff but not so big I end up with a sore shoulder. Loads of compartments, great for being organised.

Its not the softest leather its true but all in all for the price (I bought them when they had a 20% off handbags promo on) I think they are fab everyday bags

I now can't find the other thread! They need to know what I think.
