Hi,

Anyone still has those Oyster travel cards??

I am looking to buy the green oyster travel card for my souvenir collection.

I have already got the pink and the blue one.

Am looking for the green volunteer travel card and the limited edition oyster card for general public.

Please drop an email or comment here if anyone is interested in selling.

Thanks.

I have 4 tickets for the Olympic Park only for tomorrow - Sunday from 4.00pm

They are download and print at home, so easy to take up. £20 for the 4, face value.

I advertised these on my local NCT site, had 12 responses, but not a single please amongst them, requests from mothers with children, what hope is there for the manners of those children? ( Rant over!)

More tickets for this weekend on sale now for earlybirds, I've just snagged a couple for tonight's athletics.

My tickets have just arrived so with the travel advice above I think we are all set - really looking forward to it! Thanks to all who've posted useful links, it's made the whole thing really simple even for someone fairly clueless like me :)

The box office did check photo ID when I collected mine. Does your mum (or dad :o) look like the photo in your ID?? Personally I think Frankenstein's monster could have collected mine using my driver's license.

I have brought tickets for my parents to the paraolympics and chose pick up at box office however it says I have to collect myself. I have called the LOCOG helpdesk who wern't particularly helpful. Anyone know if I can give my parents confirmation ref and email and the box office would give parents the tickets?? Thanks

Thanks SoupDragon - I was wondering how to take advantage of my travelcard with my print at home tickets. Thanks

Pleased to see people have found my link the ticketchecker site helpful. We're going on Sunday so we will probably pass fellow MNers somewhere in the park. Have fun everyone!

I used to live in London but am a total tourist these days so we should be OK! I'm glad to hear it worked for you, I'll definitely give it a go :)

That was me!! And yes, just the e-mail confirmation of my tickets and a copy of that link did the trick.
The worst problem was the South West trains men who seemed deeply suspicious, everyone else knew exactly what I was rambling on about and just let me through. That was the first day though so they should be used to it by now :) TBH, once we were actually in London, most of the gates were open anyway so nobody was checking tickets.
I think also, having an air of the provinces about us, made us far more plausible as visitors to London to see the games (I had clamped a piece of straw between my teeth and DS had a chicken under his arm :o)

Oh that's interesting, I was assuming we'd need to buy a Travelcard. I know it's only about £8 but it's a shame to if one's included in what you've paid for. I may ring the ticket line later and see what they say.

If they do come through you can use them to travel instead of your games travel cards. The poster I mentioned also managed to travel with, I assume, her email confirmation and a print of the webpage that says you can use Paralympic tickets,

Another MNer had the same problem yesterday: The print at home tickets did not come through but we had no problems at all picking them up at the venue box office.

Thanks, that's reassuring :)

I picked my tickets up from the central London box office yesterday. There was a woman in front of me with exactly the same email problem and they sorted it out there.

Hi Why there have been delays, you should still get it in time (check your spam mail just in case) but you can try calling them.

I also read on twitter that if the reason you have no tickets is email problems they will sort it out at the gate.

Hi all, wondered if anyone could help - we've got tickets for this Sunday and were planning to pick them up but a couple of days ago I got an email offering the option to print at home. This would be much better so I filled in the form but have heard nothing since - and worryingly it says once you've selected print at home you can't collect from the box office! I'm hoping the email will come today but wondered if anyone else had an experience of this? So excited now (me and DD) and don't want our day screwed up.

Thank you unclekevin, i was too lazy to hunt back to see who posted the link, I found it much more reliable than the ticket alert tweets which kept linking me to tickets with no availability.

kbear...so glad you took my advice and was successful in getting some tickets.

cluttered...hate to take the glory but it was me who posted the link for ticket checker, again glad you've got tickets. For anyone trying to buy ticket, go to 2012ticketchecker.com

It's just that I read on the returns website that you can't part-sell your tickets to leave children's tickets alone so if you had 1 adult and 3 kids' tickets someone after 1 adult and 1 or 2 kids wouldn't be able to have them. That made me think it might be easier to go for all adult tickets because if a group of 4 adult tickets were returned you could buy 3 of them. Even though it says there are child tickets available it doesn't say how they are parcelled up. However that is assuming they are selling returns and not tickets they kept back from the initial allocation. I don't think I can really extrapolate from 2 successes which is why I was wondering if anyone else had this experience.

cluttered think you may be onto something re the kids tickets..going to try just adults next time as I haven't been able to get anything when I request adult and kids...bit crap if thats true
