We’re very excited to offer Mumsnetters the chance to attend an exclusive screening of the upcoming animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie! The screenings will take place in London and Manchester on May 8, and are open to selected Mumsnetters with children aged 5+.

So, grab your flock and come and enjoy the animated adventure of Red, Chuck & Bomb!

You can watch the trailer .

The Angry Birds Movie Synopsis:
In the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis, We're the Millers, Horrible Bosses), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad in his first animated role since Frozen), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride, This Is the End, Eastbound and Down) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

If that doesn’t egg-cite you, not only will you be one of the first people to watch the movie, there will also be some Angry Birds treats and a snack waiting for you!

Locations & Times:
ODEON Trafford Centre, Manchester – 10am (for 10.30am start)
Picturehouse Central, London - 10am (for 10.30am start)

Some important bits and bobs:

Latecomers will not be admitted and there will be no mobile phone/video camera/camera use permitted in the cinema.

You're welcome to bring your children to the event, with a max of 4 people (and 2 adults) per party (if you have more than three children, please email [email protected] and we will try to find space for you). Please state the group size on the form - no changes to this can be made as we want to fill each cinema! You will need to make your own way to the cinema but there is parking available at the Trafford Centre, and Picturehouse Central, London is easily accessible by public transport.

Please note, as the film is rated U, Mumsnet would recommend bringing children aged 5+ to the screening.

After the screening it would be great to hear all your thoughts about the movie! Did it make you CHUCKle? Has your DC gone cuckoo for Angry Birds? Return to Mumsnet to add your reviews, post a photo or two of you and your DCs at the screening! We’d also love it if you could tweet your reviews using #AngryBirdsMN

Everyone who posts their feedback on the thread on Mumsnet will be entered into a prize draw. There will be 4 runner-up prizes and 1 lucky grand prize winner! The grand prize includes the following;
• A Sony HD Handycam
• £300 John Lewis voucher
• A year’s lunch supply of Peperami snack packs!
• 2x Angry Birds Goody Bags
Runner- up prize:
• 1 x Angry Birds Goody Bag per runner-up winner

If you'd like to attend please sign up here.

We'll be in touch with selected attendees soon.

Check out Peperami’s Animal in action as the Official ‘Stunt Animal’ in the new Peperami Angry Birds TV advert!

Peperami says: 'Pick up a special edition Angry Birds pack of Peperami for your flock, in stores now!'

Thanks,
MNHQ

The email saying you have been selected says people must RSVP by 9pm tonight or their tickets will be allocated to someone else.

As MN only texted/ emailed me at 15.55 today, I imagine there will be some folk who don't respond or cannot make the screening so hopefully Notenough you will be contacted after 9pm with some of the spare tickets.

If we haven't heard from you by now does that mean we haven't been selected?

It is my birthday weekend and if I'm not lucky enought to be going to see "The Angry Birds Movie" then I guess I need to make other plans.

Thanks Angry Bird
