Ds used the toilet all by himself!

I went upstairs earlier and found him sitting there . He's been using the toilet for a while now but only if I took him, he would never 'volunteer'. He even pulled his pants and trousers back up instead of kicking them off and walking about half naked, so that's another first. Last week we stopped the night-time nappies and he hasn't had one 'accident' so I guess that's it, he's officially toilet-trained (just got to get him to wipe his own bum LOL). I'm so proud of him .

Ah thanks, I must admit there were times I thought he'd never get it. He's 7.3 and we started making a proper effort at the beginning of last year's summer holiday! The fact that he's non-verbal and won't/can't sign to say when he needs to go makes it that bit more 'interesting'. I'm not sure how to teach him to wee standing up or if it really matters.
