made me think on another thread.
It is ds who makes dd's world complete. who treats her like normal. (ok yesterday he told her to choose the doll that stood up he was )

you are so right - dd2 thinks dd1 is just the best - all right they fight like cats and dogs at times but to dd2 - dd1 is her hero!! Dd1 adores both dd2 and especially dd3 - she is a fab big sister.

My son (ASD) was refusing to remove his fleece on the playground yesterday and staff were concerned as it was very hot. (he has periods of clothing attachment). His 8 yr old NT sister walked past and in a matter of fact way ordered him to remove his coat and helped him take it off. He followed her instruction with no fuss (his TA had been attempting to negotiate with him all morning!)

My son knows his sister is the boss! LOL

my ds is my first but theres another boy in his nursery who has a chromosome disorder as does his 12 yr old brother. I saw them out shopping with their mother at the weekend and their two NT brothers. I stood and watched from the shop across the street at one brother stand with his brothers whilst their mother went in the shop.

I watched him give his brothers a drink, help clean them afterwards, then this elderly lady smiled at them all and this boy shouted very proudly......"these are my two brothers and they are my best friends.....!". It was a simple but a great moment.
