hi just thought I'd post up about the weeks holiday we have just had. It was fab! We went through Forest Holidays and stayed at their location in deerpark Cornwall (got others all over uk). Log cabin in middle of forest with hot tub on the decking. Loads of space for my dd1 to be as loud and excitable as she wanted yet peace an quiet and not too busy for dd2. Forest activities were available for kids and adults at low prices which dd1 loved an just so many walks and bike rides through the forest. Nearly all walks in forest were buggy/wheelchair friendly and we saw several families with SN kids there. We will def be going back was far less stressful than the busyness of butlins or getting on and off planes! Took waterproof clothes and went out whatever the weather. In evenings had mice relax in hot tub or played on the Wii that was in our log cabin.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone looking for holiday ideas.

i think its forest holidays that actually own the places but im sure you can book with other agencys rather than direct. I did the Orienteering/Survival activity with dd1 and hubby and dd1 did the nightvision one which they said was fab. We didnt want to take dd2 abroad this year as didnt think she would cope well with it so we did this instead, cost a fair bit but next to nothing other than food when youre there and we took a ton of food with us :)

Ooh, we're going to a log cabin with hot tub this w/e in the Forest of Dean, but not with Forest Holidays. I like the sound of the activities. I'll have to look into them, thanks.
