Hi my ds has just started having sensory issues with his rain cover which now makes me feel i cant go out in the rain with him.
Basically as soon as the rain cover goes on he just screams when we go in shops i have tried leaving down or lifting up and he still screams.
Any tips and advice would be great.

Ds hated rain covers too.. I use to use a big golf umbrella with the handle stuffed down the back of the seat cushion.. Seemed to solved the issue for us :)

DD2 kicked her raincover so hard she broke it! Now I dont bother, eiher she has rainsuit on or umbrella. Weirdly enough in a large 3 wheeler buggy she would be ok with raincover but stroller is a big nono, think it was just too close for her :(

Oh Oldboy you have my sympathies, both mine did this- in fact ds4 does as well. It's a complete PITA

We have an all in one rainsuit from ebay for about a tenner which solves the issue to our liking. there's always someone tutting but tbh that's their botehr isn;t it?

Good luck

Would he hold a childrens umbrealla? Dd2 would never have the rain cover on so i never used one (she was happy to get wet). You can get a water proof thing (not sure what its called) that covers the child (appart from his face).

How old is he?

My DS didnt like being under a raincover either - I just bought hima mac and some wellies - he still got a little wet but when you weight it up against how upset he was getting it was the better option,
