I know it's two years away at the moment, but we've been told to start going round secondary schools for our youngest dd who is on the Autistic Spectrum and has general learning difficulties. The thing is there is only one school in our catchment area, so I'm wondering if we found a school which say has a unit for ASD children as well as a mainstream school would we stand a chance of getting her in there, she does have a Statement of SEN, I don't know if that would have any bearing on the LEAs decision. Thanks in advance.
