Not sure if i am posting this in the right place but thought i would give it a go.
Our daughter is 6 and dyslexic(although we havent had an official assessment). We have had to fight for everything we have got for her so far and have become very involved by stamping our feet and finding out how to work the system(or what there is of one!). We have just been given our IEP from a meeting with the teacher 5 weeks ago and on each of the three targets we are detailed as on of the people giving the intervention as well as the the teacher and ta`s. I dont remember ever agreeing to all this, only one of them, and am starting to feel like they are trying to shove all the work onto us as parents. I want to do as much as i can for my daughter and am open to doing additional work but i have three children and one possibly with asperges and a business to run so my time is limited. What should my involvement be- should i be doing anything? Help- any information from other parent would be much appreciated

There is actually a difference between SEN and SN, so I can see why this topic is here- you don't have to have any dx or SN to have SEN, but most children withe SN will experience some form of SEN.

I don't think MN should subsume this topic into SN, but perhaps align it more closely with the education section.
