If you need quick meals you could either batch cook and freeze, or use the SW free ready meals from Iceland.

A lot of processed and ready prepared food is high in syns so doesn't really fit into the plan unless you are prepared to devote your entire syns budget to it and do without wine, chocolate, crisps etc.

Best to make your own salads etc or leftovers to heat up. Cous cous or pasta with salad and measured cheese or free meat or fish is a good packed lunch.

Try to make a third of each meal superfree food, which is non starchy veg and fruit.

One syn for treat food is 20 calories so a small pack of crisps with 120 calories will be 6 syns.

The HeA and HeB are about 120 calories each for dairy and cereal or bread respectively.

Low fat diet - I've cut out avocado, olive oil and reduced milk intake.

You can work out your own recipes or use theirs, entirely up to you and no you don't weigh or measure free foods.

Also how do-able is SW for someone who works long hours and needs quick meals and lunches at work?

How do you go about deciding what to eat from that? Can you work out your own meals / recipes or do you have to stick to slimming world recipes? And does food need weighing etc? Thanks

Food is split into three groups; Free food, Healthy Extras and Syns. The majority of your food for the day should come from the free food group

You can eat as much as you like of free foods (eggs, veg, fruit, lean meat, fish, pasta, rice, pulses - with a few exceptions), plus a few other things I've probably forgotten.

You get one healthy extra A and B choice per day (HeA and HeB) which are limited portions of dairy (HeA) and bread/cereal etc (HeB).

Anything not in any of these catergories is assigned a 'syn' value. You can have up to 15 syns per day.

Thats the VERY basics. There are also things like speed foods and the Extra Easy SP plan but I wouldn't worry too much about those at first.
