So far we've had:

Too hot
Too cold
Duvet twisted
Duvet untucked
Sheets the wrong colour
Wants to change pyjamas
Nappy change (x several)
Can't find specific soft toy (by her hand)
Fingers felt funny
Itchy ear

And tonight's two -

Sat up the wrong way round (facing the wall) and panicked that her room had disappeared
Sat up onto her hands and wanted me to free them. From under her bum.

It's shaping up to be a loooooong night....... Smile

dd used to stick her leg out the side of the bed and then call me because her leg was cold.

Dd woke in the night last week and couldn't find her pillow.
Her head was on it! Hmm

Dc4 is 4 in June - last night he only woke once (a 'horrible bad dream Daddy'), the night before 3 times (kicked his blanket off, dinosaurs trying to get him & then lots of baby animals climbing in his bed), the one one before that he woke twice (bad dream unspecified & blanket kicked off), the one before that was 3 times again (blanket twice & need a drink).

He didn't eat his dinner tonight so I am fully expecting a bad night. Sob.

Dc3 (nearly 6) had a massive 2am temper tantrum because her pillows were WRONG on Sunday night. I'm still recovering from that one.

Proper LOLs from me and DH at disappearing room.

I've had:

  • wanted water
  • wanted water bottle placed in a specific place in the cot
  • "bunny in the pocket" = putting her bunny down the front of her sleeping bag with just the head poking out
  • wanted Vicks on her chest
  • wanted medicine (she has been under the weather but slightly pushing her luck with these last two tonight)
  • "on the farm" - no fucking clue re that one. We think she's starting to dream and trying to make sense of it all

Tonight's first is just general moaning.

We've had wanting food and water as well. I've just got back from "just tiny mummy cuddle?" With an angelic smile.

It gets less angelic by 5am Wink

I've had it all this week:

  • Trapped in sleeping bag after getting all twisted round
  • I want to get out (of sleeping bag)
  • I cold I want to get in (ten mins after I dropped off again)
  • Thirsty
  • Lost bear
  • I sad cos I missing you, Mummy...
  • I not tired (whilst wailing with exhaustion)! I not sleep now!
  • TORTOISE! (he woke randomly yelling this at 3am the other night. No idea what that was about.

And best of all, when he realised he wasn't getting anything other than 'Go to sleep' from me, he began yelling his older brother's name full volume instead - like he was going to wake and entertain him! Nothing wakes DS1 - good job really.

I'm loving the disappearing room one!

I would like to know how your child's nose wasn't working?!

The room disappearing has actually happened a few times over the last few weeks. She doesn't seem to learn!
