my toddler seems to want a pillow for his bed.As he likes to lie on the settee with a cushion. But what sort of pillow is suitable for him and where do i get it from.Hes two in october. I did look in mothercare but it was £17.99 for one anti-allergic pillow which seemed an awful lot.

According to this link (not suggesting you should buy from there necessarily, as they're not v cheap, though they do also do the hollowfibre ones!) a child's first pillow should be as soft as possible.

My ds has had an ordinary pillow since he was about 18 months. It's just a bog standard pillow with the non feather stuff in (can't remember what it's called - pg brain!) and it's just what we have on our bed. Don't think you need anything special unless they're seriously asthmatic/eczema.

didn't know you were meant to use a special pillow. My 16 monther has a normal foam pillow and has done since one year old, she has a cot bed so it fits snuggly with no gaps down sides for her to get trapped in.
