I have a 14 week DD who is a pretty good sleeper (for now!). We do bath, massage, feed and bed and she is usually away by 8pm. She gets up between 3 - 4 for a feed and then up for the day at 7 - 8.
We've been invited to a family party next weekend which I have to go to - have been criticised lots for not going to any social occasions (I may have used DD as an excuse more than once..).
I really don't want to break her routine - has anyone experience of this? Is it better to try and replicate the routine, maybe using a travel cot, or should I carry her in a sling and let her sleep in there?
The added complication is that there will be fireworks at the party which is bound to unsettle her - a bus backfired today and she started screaming.
Would be grateful for any tips!
