Ohh and welcome to mn

yes just post whereever you feel the urge .. you are welcome on any thread .. there is no such thing as a private thread on MN

FLY is some crappy american house-cleaning thingamijigg where they all do a little something in the house as directed by email .. they're all freaks .. you'd be well to stay clear cos you might get sucked into housework

Come on into the bar if you want - you can chat about anything and say hello. If you want to talk about something specific, you can start a new thread in any section.

What I can never figure is how they do housework AND mumsnet. Definitely one or the other in this house!

many thanks ladies. i feel all warm and welcome! i will take your advice re cleaning thingy i think, although i did hoover today when mn went down. very much enjoying the old mn thing and hoping it is still around for the forseeable what with all the "stuff" going on. i might pop into the bar later tonight after bottle making, dishes etc, when i can give it my full attention and not in my usual "doing 12 things at once" mode.

Fly ladies are nice, and have immaculate homes. Their children probably don't dribble like mine does either

hi nicky, post as much as possible. the bar and teashop are for idle chitchat, the fly is for clean people. and the hut of gloom is for if you are ttc but having probs. the others are pretty self-explanatory. good luck!

and the bf/ff threads. they take no prisoners

And just be aware that sometimes things YOU may have considered completely non-contentious can go ballistic. But that in itself is what makes mn so good i think, you get a whole new perspective at times.
