Secondary school waiting list for in year admissions

Hi everyone
I recently moved to Hounslow and have applied for year 8 school admissions for my DD.
Unfortunately LA informed us all the 3 of our preferred schools have no spaces ,so have put her in waiting list. The closest school would be Heathland and waiting list 2 . Bit frustrating as my DD is not part of any school currently..Not sure whether it is worth waiting for this school .Have anyone experienced such situation. Please advice

I would opt for Kingsley personally. We in a similar last year and waiting for places at Heathland or Lampton but LA offered Chiswick (too far), Springwest (miles away and not good rep) or Kingsley (hadn’t heard good things). We went with Kingsley as temporary option and I’ve been so impressed that we’re keeping DD and DS there permanently. Impeccable behaviour, amazing communication and I’m really impressed by the staff and the new Head (google him - good track record)

AS this thread is from October I imagine the OP has accepted a school by now but not bothered to updated all the people that offered advice.
