What spending limit should I set per day for DS1, Y7 in Sept?

They have a finger print recognition system in place. I preload his account and can set a daily expenditure limit (which I assume I can change when necessary.)

He's not a big eater- I'm thinking £4 a day? What do you think?

£2 a day here too, and ds moans about it. He takes two cartons of ribena, cereal bars and fruit every day too. (He won't eat breakfast, he's nearly 15 ).

ampere, good luck with bribing your ds!

My ds wouldn't join in any of the many performing arts opportunities for a million pounds.

Ds does French - they set them for Year 8 which ds is pleased about as when they start setting them they get rid of the "trashy girls" as ds calls them. He is definitely quite a way off from dousing himself with Lynx and salivating over the opposite sex!

DS1 (Yr8 about to go into Yr9) gets £2 per day. That is enough to buy a sandwich or a hot meal. We do however have hot meals at home every night. I wish they had a cashless system too. At the school I work at we have the thumb print system.

£4 is way too much.
