The BL Board

When I first started listening to the Archers I hadn't got a clue who was who. After several decades I think that I have got it sussed but the BL Board is making me feel like a newbie all over again.

Do I need to know who/what they are? How many are there? Can anybody tell their voices apart?

There's the one who's swapped his wife for a younger model but both come to drinks parties.

ANd there's the one who always disagrees with Brian and has to be over ruled.

I still haven't got a handle on the Board. There seem to be trillions of them - I am amazed that they ever reach a decision on anything!
We must be going to get to know some of them in the future because they will be on the NewCo Board. There will be one of Lil versus four of them (one of whom is bound to be Brine). I do hope that Jerry/Gerry, the condescending one, will be one of them.

You can just ignore everyone on the BL board, except Annabel. Everyone else is just in there as general feedback to Brian.

BL woman - lawyer Annabel Posh-name - I think Fag Ash Lil thought Matt would have an affair with her.

Lets have some more way out characters like "Citz" or the Kiwi lasses!

We did have the BL woman one who I thought was going to have an affair with Brian - or did she and I missed it?

Surely this is a waste of licence-payer's money having so many talking parts when there are so many long-time Ambridge residents with no voice? That cook in the pub, for instance?

They do seem to have sprung from nowhere, I'm not going to invest any time in learning their voices, I predict they won't last long.
