If only I was a natural minimalist. In reality I know I could never keep it looking like that as my DC can fill a room with toys, trading cards, cast-aside homework, loom bands and general plastic tat in only 10 mins flat and I just can't be arsed to be always picking stuff up.

Here Lovely, lovely, lovely (and a little remote).

gemma that one has incredible views. I would happily clean that kitchen to see that when I looked up..

It's beautiful but I'd have to have a view of the Mediterranean!

Sorry, I meant the one in the OP!

I hate it. It's awful, it reminds me of some sort of clinic.

Ah no! I know where this one is. Scrap my earlier post. I was mistaking it for a very modern house on that road from kilmac to the rocky valley.

It's lovely. I saw that when I was house-hunting for real last year. I love the house but it's not really enniskerry is it, it's the rocky valley and it manages to be remote in the snow and yet too close to the n11. But the house itself is beautiful.

I can't find it on Grand Designs, the only Irish on listed on the website is a castle.

I think that's the house I saw on the only Grand Designs episode I ever watched. It's nice but I couldn't keep it clean.

I think some of the pictures must be the architect's CAD pictures. I don't know why the estate agent bothered with them when the house is clearly finished and available to be photographed.

Oooh, I love The Unhappy Hipster Didactylos. I'd forgotten all about it. I will be absorbed for hours now.

They're both gorgeous. I did find the second one amusing, though - an utterly cool house furnished courtesy of DHS and Argos!

I think the remoteness of Enniskerry is probably subjective Unexpected, I grew up not that far away from there and then lived most of my adult life in London. My memories of been a teen are what a pain in the neck it is to get anywhere under your own steam (the 44 bus takes ages to get into town from Enniskerry), and living in London has turned me into a city slicker. When we moved back to Dublin one of my criteria was living near the Luas or Dart.

It's not for me. It looks like a giant caravan.

It might be worth getting a valuation gooseysgirl. Dublin property is definitely moving again. Sale agreed signs are springing up all over the place. There are some concerns that there is acutally too much heat in the market.

I'm sure it was on a grand designs programme.

Wouldn't be for me... I'm a bit Shock at the price tag. Clearly the Irish property market is recovering! This is good news... bought my Dublin flat in 2004 and have been patiently waiting for the recovery..

Looks like a Center Parcs villa!
I do like it though.

Enniskerry is not remote! That's a very odd set of property details, some of the photos are real-life ones and some are obviously computer-generated (the ones with only two chairs in the living area). I think this house might work if it was in an area with a better climate than Ireland but given that you will be looking out on rain or drizzle for about 9 months of the year there, it would probably make you want to run screaming from the house after a while!

oh god that's horrible. Bet you anything it will be falling to pieces in a few years' time too

Surprisingly low ber energy rating for such a new looking house. It looks like a car showroom.

It's a bit dated already so dread to think how it will look in 20 years time.
