Thanks @primarywoodle, I've still not heard anything and was about to give up hope but maybe there's a chance.
I do appreciate it's really complicated, that's why I don't want to keep ringing and harassing them but I'm worried about finding another place.

I have just today finished my nursery list and confirmed all the parents.

Last year i think i did it the following week.

Dont forget the teacher is probably doing it in their PPA and/or trying to get parents to answer the bloody phone to confirm the place before the next on the list! Takes flipping ages lol

Thanks, they do seem a bit disorganised, I rang today but they have to get someone to ring me tomorrow as the lady who deals with admissions is off. 🤞🏻

Hope it's just dis-organisation and you get your place op. Other areas seems everyone goes to pre school - around here they are like gold dust.

Thanks @RicStar, I'd better ring and check then but it's not looking good.
Damn it, we really wanted to get in that school. Sad

At our school they do not tell you no -and this list is so long they only tell you if you phone / email and ask they will tell you where you are on the waiting list. We applied to a few schools in London for dd (dc1) and didn't get any response - she went to a private pre school instead.

😨

Thanks for replying. I didn't want to be pushy and ring the school but it is getting a bit late. DH keeps saying leave it another week but I'm stressing.

Do they not tell you if you haven't got a place then?

You should have at least received a reply. And a letter about meeting teacher, home visit etc... We have an introductory meeting next week for nursery and reception. Maybe check with the school.

Have you contacted the school? What do they say. At our school they dont actually tell you you dont have a place unless you chase. They allocate places after may half term and then if anyone declines places go to the next person on the list. They have a massive waiting list but only siblings get places (and they have to live close to the school too). Its because it is a big school with a very small nursery class.
