Preppers

Thank you Preppers

I only started reading the prepping board last year when I was worried about a no deal Brexit. Using the advice here, I created a little pantry and began making sure my freezer is fully stocked at all times and that I always have a few packs of painkillers.

I am so glad now that I did this, as I haven’t had to deal with the stress of going to the supermarket and finding everything I need gone. I have probably enough food for a couple of weeks if things got really tricky.

I will always be a (very small scale) prepper now, its a damn wise thing to be!

Thanks to all of you for sharing your tips on here, stay well everyone.Flowers

Agreed. I prepped for a no deal Brexit and was very glad I had a spare chest freezer in the garage and a stock of non perishable stuff (including toilet roll) when the supermarkets got depleted a few weeks ago

I was also thinking like a prepper when I listened to BBC breakfast in early March when Italy first went into lockdown. They interviewed an ex pat who said there were no online supermarket slots left. I immediately logged on and booked a weekly slot from March through to 10 May (at that stage there were no later dates). So glad I did that

I've been able to take loo roll round to near-neighbours from my stash bought in 2019. Kept us all out of the aisles.

I just came to say thank you too! I started to stockpile for Brexit and had to go through my parents and some friends laughing at making fun. I'm so glad I just carried on with it! I've only had to shop for fresh food until I got a regular delivery sorted but everything that people were panic buying I had sorted.
Thank you so much for all the advice and defending our preparations from those on here who decided it was fun to attack our approach! I'm just wondering how many of them were out panic buying?!
