Friend is 12 weeks pregnant but doesnt know what to do

Hey,
My friend is 26 and found out she was pregnant about 2 months ago, ahe is now 12 weeks pregnant. She keeps asking me if she should keep it or get an abortion but obviously i cant make that decision for her. I was hoping to see if anyone can offer her any advice especially if theyve thought about am abortion and hasn't gone through with it or have gone through with it and how you dealt with the situation. She is also suffering from hyperemesis and is very very ill so if anyone can also offer help on that please it will be amazing thank you!

2 months is quite a while to pass and not make a decision. I am currently expecting but for the first 24 weeks couldn't commit to either decision (terminate or keep). I made 8 appointments to terminate and attended 6 of them. I let the time expire bc I just couldn't follow through (I've yet to fully accept that I didn't terminate bc I wanted the pregnancy). I talked to friends and talked to a counsellor but I never gained consistent clarity. I flipped and flopped and there was nothing anyone could say that would change that. The only advice I can offer you is to tell your friend that she should find an unbiased person to talk to; like a counsellor. Continue to support her (I know it can be hard with someone who is unable or unwilling to make a choice and is clearly suffering) but she really just need someone to be nonjudgmental and to listen. Your friend is lucky to have you, and I hope things work out for her.
