Pregnancy

Is this a bad sign...?

Sorry, just (hopefully irrationally) worrying...

I am 10+1 weeks. So far, I have had pretty much all the text book pregnancy symptoms, although I am not too sick... its more a question of feeling queasy when hungry rather than anything worse (I have only been sick once). Anyway, some of my main symptoms have been HUGE and REALLY painful boobs and extreme (as in crippling) tiredness. Since yesterday-ish, although still huge, my boobs have stopped being achy (although my nipples are still agony when I'm cold) and I'm feeling a bit less tired.

Is this a bad sign? Are my hormone levels dropping off because something awful is happening (i.e. mc) or do symptoms usually start to recede a bit this early on?

Worried!

I too was exactly the same no morning sickness, but hideously painful breasts and completely exhausted whenever I was working from home the fight to stay awake was almost unbearable. Had my 20 week scan last month, and the baby is perfect -- so it sounds to me like you're probably fine!

This sounds like me too. I was comatose the first few weeks - ready for bed by 9am, and again at 7 in the evening. But about the 10 week mark I started to feel human again. Plus I wasn't sick once but felt constantly queasy and yucky.

Hi! I was the same as you early on (now 22 weeks), with hardly any ms (just feeling nauseous if I was hungry), really sore nipples(sorry if TMI!) and I could have slept for Britain! I got a bit worried around the 10-11 week stage as my symptoms seemed to be easing off, and I was really worried that there was something wrong.

I did give my midwife a call who said that around that stage hormone levels are starting to level out and that although the symptoms are usually still there, they're just not as bad as they have been. I hope that helps a little - good luck
