Hiya just discovered I am pregnant for the fourth time and don't really know how to feel!
We have a 6yr old a 4yr old and 19 mnth old! Thought we were finished! Have just moved house and this is the last thng we were expecting!
\deep down I am happy just worried how I an going to cope!
Also my hubby and I are only 26 and I feel people look down their nose at us cos we have 3 already! know thats daft but can imagine the gossips when they find out we are having another one!
Any way just wondering if anyone can give me advice on coping with 4! And if anyone else's pregnancy came as a shock and how u got your head round it!
Thank u! L xx

Thanks every one, Whatawally, good to hear other people in our situation! DH is stressed about money more than any thing else! Just took on a bigger mortgage and I am only working part time but these things will always work out!
Going to be tiring being pregnant with another 3 to look after!
Wish u luck and congratulations!

Congratulations!! The fourth child is the best!! And I'm not just saying that because I am one...

Sorry no practical advice - other than take as many photos of this one as you did your first DC - questions will be asked later if you don't. I think my parents just left me to the other kids to be looked after. Even today our grandmother tells me how the 7 & 6 year old would feed me, bathe me, wipe my nose, play with me etc., with no fuss.

Ignore gossips, you obviously sound like good parents, concerned about your kids.

Best wishes and good luck!

lollipopz- I also just found out I am pg with number 4. My children are 6, 5 and 2 and dh and I are 27. Dh has also just given notice on his secure job in the forces to do something more worthwile but not so well paid. He is due to leave his job 1 month after the baby will be born.

So this wasn't exactly in our plans either, needless to say I am happy about it and sure dh will be when I tell him too, (i hope so anyway).

I worry about the same things as you, but you just have to believe that everything will be fine. I mean it's only 1 more isn't it.

Just wanted to say I hope everything goes well with your pg.

but Disenchanted how can you imagine having a 'surprise baby' in 2 years time, if you are already thinking that then its not actually a surprise- sounds like you are actually hoping!!!

Firstly, Congratulations

Don't worry about other people's opinions. DH & I are 24, we have DD1 (4), DD2, (21 months) and DC3 due in 2 weeks, who cares what other peoples opinions are !!!!

Can't really offer any advice on coping as I haven't quite worked that one out for myself yet, but everything will fall into place, it always does

Hiya,

I understand how you feel

Im 23 and pregnant with my third.

Will have just 4 year old, 2 year old and newborn.

I can see myself being in your situation in 2 years time having a 'surprise' (these 3 have been planned though)

Congratulations.

You will be fine

Congratulations! I'm sure all will be well. Don't worry about how other people see you. That's just them. Know that you and your DH love each other and are extending your family.

As to coping.. well I had three then twins! We coped. You just get on with what you're given.

Again congratulations!
