Got my BFP confirmed today, so blood test detected it at 7dpo and urine test detected it at 8dpo. line is still light on the pg test today, but the blood test shows good increase in hcg levels, which means I am pg

Big congrats Lissie, I am so pleased for you.

Glimmer - thank you so much for posting, it has reassured me that I need not think the worst yet, and help me to be patient for tomorrows blood test results, it is not so bad just to wait one more day.

Thank you for everyones reassuring posts, it really helps.

I got my BFP at 11 dpo, surely if egg is fertilised by sperm-in-waiting it will implant sooner than one fertilised at the end of its cycle???
Good luck anyway Lissie, well chuffed for you!

Rainbow -- When I tested with the cheap-o ones my line didn't get darker from 10dpo to 24dpo. Was all worried about it, especially since I bled at the same time (thought it could be ep...) but am 19 weeks now.
If you are worried about ep do to GP and ask for a very early scan, otherwise you just have to make it through the first weeks somehow. I know it's torture.... A line is a line and in my exerience it didn't get darker for ages....
However, I had the darkest lines with cheap supermarket HPT, that turned out to be more sensitive than internat net ones and even clear blue.

Oh, Lissie not-anymore-incognito -- hope so much this is not a faulty batch (hardly...) and things will work out. Fingers crossed (and more...). Please let us know how you get on. Stand your ground with the docs and maybe even ask for transferral to consulatnt ASAP?

Rainbowdays still-in-incognito. Hope this one works out for you. The first weeks are so full of anxiety... I think of you both.

Good luck for the appointment - sounds very hopeful with 2 pink lines in 2 days! Fingers crossed

lissie · 20/06/2007 15:31

lol, how many times a day are you testing?

Report
rainbowdays · 20/06/2007 14:29

Lissie, hope that they get you your answer soon. It would be great if we could be pg buddies from even before our af's are due!!!!

Two weeks ago I bought a batch of 100 pg tests (cheap off internet) as I had lost all hope of it happening anytime soon.... eeekkk! I am so excited. But with so many tests in the house I could be in danger of going into pg test overload....
