Swollen Feet!

I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant and this week I've been suffering from severe swollen feet! I dink loads at least 8 pints a day. I have a desk job but get up every hour or so for toilet trip or to make a drink!
I get home from work and put my feet up all evening but they never seem to go down!

Anyone else suffering with this? or found a way to manage them?

Echoing others. Contact your midwife just to be safe. I had swollen feet and it was due to pre-eclampsia. It may well not be that but best to get checked out.

I'm going through this at the moment as well and hate it. I'm 28+3 and my feet look like sausages - my ankle bones have totally gone missing! I have a midwife appointment tomorrow morning so will find out if there's anything wrong but I suspect not - I think it's mostly my lack of activity. I have a desk job and haven't done an awful lot of exercise; I've been noticing the swelling feet for a few weeks now (getting gradually worse) but find that if I exercise or soak them in cold water they do go down. I spent last weekend building nursery furniture and the amount of scrambling up and down from sitting on the floor while I built it gave me a pretty decent workout. Was delighted at the end of it all to notice my anklebones had made a reappearance for the first time in a while!

I should probably be drinking more water too though, and my BMI apparently now officially lands me in the obese range - before getting pregnant I've only ever been in the healthy weight range so this is depressing!

I'm 27 weeks and am exactly the same. I went to the doctors and although my blood pressure was a little higher than usual I didn't have any other pre-eclampsia symptoms so they decided to just monitor me daily.
However, it's rained all day today so I've not left the house and it's a bit cooler and my feet are loads better! I'm like a bloody human barometer.

I had swollen feet/ankles/legs in my first pregnancy and it was a symptom of pre-eclampsia. I would get your blood pressure checked, don't wait two weeks for your next appointment.

No I haven't got a midwife appointment for another two weeks! I had a different midwife when I went last week and she brushed over it. They have just got much worse this week they never seem to go down!

I cant wait to finish work still got 6 more weeks to get through tho!

Have you spoken to your midwife? Could be a sign of pre-eclampsia so best to get checked out.

Failing that though, I've found mine are much better since I finished work and can keep my feet up for most of the day (and not wear shoes!). Not sure what to advise other than that, it was so uncomfortable when I was in work.
