Firstly, I am a massive worrier about my health. So I prone to over-reacting about everything.
Last night my leg was a bit sore. I didn't think much of it (i'd been standing up for a long time with colleagues at an event) and went to bed. This morning walking was painful in my left upper inside leg/groin area, feels like a bad pulled muscle. I had to go out so walked slowly. Annoying pain, not unbearable, and it doesn't hurt to put weight on the leg, just to move the muscles.
This afternoon the leg is aching more, but only in that one spot. There's no heavyness.
I assumed that maybe i'd developed SPD (I'm 22 weeks) so I read some SPD threads for advice and found some very scary posts on there about people getting severe DVT after assuming it was just SPD.
Now I'm freaked out.
The annoying thing is we have guests staying from australia this weekend, plus i'm working all day tomorrow, and it's sunday so GP and midwife not easy to contact until Monday anyway.
So can anyone tell me here what SPD feels like and what DVT feels like? There's no redness, swelling or heat and to be honest if I hadn't read that post I would have assumed all muscular/nerve pain as that's exactly what it feels like - not anything heavy or achy. More of a strain pain. In particular I can't squeeze my thigh muscles together when sitting as it really hurts on the left side.
Any thoughts anyone? Obviously if it gets much worse overnight i'll have to go to A&E in the morning and upset everyone at work (I am Sunday cover, so someone will have to work an extra day if i'm off).
