This is a bit of a weird one...
Johnsons baby powder, I ate the stuff like sherbert!!
When I went for my maternity appointments I ended up being a case study! They was all facinated about my craving..
Kept a spare bottle in the car & in my handbag! I used to make my mum & partner buy it in bulk for me. If I didn't have any, I would get aggy!
I'd get through a big bottle in about 3 days.
I ate it during both my pregnancies (2 girls aged 1 & 2) & they came out perfectly healthy!
I've tired Johnson baby powder since I've had my girls & it tastes like perfume 🤢😷

Almost 35 weeks into my first pregnancy here, no real cravings (apart from wanting non-specific sweet stuff) until about a week ago when all I could think about was chewing rubber. Salivate st the thought of it. Went shoe shopping with DH and I just buried my face in the thick rubbery soles of the shoes he was looking at. Tires as well, oh lord how I want to gnaw on tires.

So sick with my first, all I could manage was Ice Poles/Pops and sweetie foam bananas till about five months, smell of almost everything made me sick. Had my son.

Second, no cravings, not sick at all. Had my daughter.

Rubber!
Loved the smell and bought a rubber dog chew to chew on. I would go into Halfords and just inhale.....

Satsuma shower gel.

Used to sneak into the bathroom to sniff it and get a "hit" of the smell to stop me drinking it.

I LOVED nice fruity citrus smells when I was pregnant, I was a woman obsessed with sniffing shower gel and soap. My sense of smell was so cool, I could smell water once walking home (I don't know how to describe it!) and then two driveways down, not in my view, some neighbourhood kids had set up a paddling pool! I could smell it from maybe 25m away!

I also had edible cravings for Terry's chocolate oranges too!

All I want to eat is chips, cheap hotdogs and beer which are all things I'd never normally consume. I am also completely obsessed with the smell of earl grey tea. I can't bring myself to drink it but I have a box of teabags just for sniffing and I've even bought some earl grey tea perfume.

Watching horror movies. I've never had a food craving. Always horror. And my kids all came out fairly normal Wink

Vinager and jars of pickled onions

Pickled beetroot. And it had to be the balls of beetroot, not sliced.

Jars upon jars upon jars of the stuff.

I also craved cigarettes. Gave up while trying and the smell knocked me sick before I got pregnant but once I was, I would literally follow smokers around for a sniff.

I had thought about that but cant find any :(
I have been eating tuna steak (the texture when it is well cooked) and beef mince or thinly sliced and fried with a lot of salt. Satisfies it for a while but its not the same. Sometimes i crave it so much i cry haha

I wouldnt relate it to gender. I have 2 boys and now expecting a girl and had/have exactly the same cravings with all of them. Especially the leather one. I could chew on a genuine leather glove if it had the smelll....

Alcohol. I never drank alcohol in my life but when I was pregnant with DD I wanted Beer so badly. I'm pregnant with my second and I crave red wine when I see advertisements for red wine.
