Hello. I'm 13dpo 11dp 2dt today after 7 years TTC and on my 4th ivf (donor eggs) im in absolute shock to have gotten a faint BFPS on frer on Monday that has been getting darker but 3 digis (1 each morning) all not pregnant? I know the FRER are 10 sensitivity compared to 25 on a CB digi but I really thought with FMU on what's the equivalent of cycle day 27 today than It would of been BFP. Having a panic now it might be a chem. Anyone had similar issues?

Thabks both, just posting the results below for anyone who stumbles across this....

11dpo faint BFP on a FRER
14dpo BFN digi
16dpo clinic test on OTD a squinter
18dpo 1-2 weeks on digi (CB say HCG levels for 1-2 are 25-200)
20dpo 1-2 weeks on digi
22dpo 2-3 weeks on digi (CB say HCG levels for 2-3 are 200-2,000)
25dpo HCG bloods 1,012 (Betabase average 4,322)
28dpo HCG bloods 2,053 (Betabase average 9,641)
30dpo HCG bloods 2,955 (Betabase average 15,357)
31dpo 2-3 weeks on digi (CB say HCG levels for 2-3 are 200-2,000)
33dpo scan with heartbeat

So as you can see my levels were much lower than usual and the digi was saying my levels were under 2,000 when they were 3,000 on my bloods

Hi ladies, I just wanted to pop back and say a huge thanks for helping me through my early testing days, I moved into blood hcgs and they were really low too, 30dpo was only 2,955 when average is 16,000 so as you can imagine have been bracing for bad news, well today I had my first scan at 6.5wks and we saw a heartbeat, 7 long years and ivf #4. Don't ever give up!

Panic over! For anyone reading this please be cautious with digis, it took a full week for a digi to catch up with FRER. And once again thanks ladies for helping me through this week x

Good luck Lauren. I went to Care in Daisybank Rd for DE treatment. Now 25 weeks. Try to stay calm!
I was the reverse of you - so worried that I didn't test until 6 weeks Grin.

Thanks so much and congrats mellie, well it's a week since my first squinter and today's looks much better, the FRER are the past few days up until today but I still want the other tests to get a bit darker before I can breath. 7 years of ttc and ivf and I didn't ever think beyond a BFN it's stressfull isn't it! X

My test lines were faint until 5 weeks. Am now 35 weeks pregnant. Like they say a line is a line.

Step away from the pregnancy tests. YOU ARE PREGNANT!!! save your money to buy nappies you'll be needing them soon enough. Congratulations enjoy your pregnancy Flowers

Ignore the clinic one - different brand, different sensitivity.

Your lines are getting darker (and don't forget all the previous ones have dried, and they always look darker when dried). Do you think you could resist testing tomorrow and test on Sunday instead? You'll see the line is noticeably darker after 48 hours. Otherwise, remove every other test, so for example you have 11dpo, 13dpo and 15dpo and I bet you can see a difference x

Thankyou! Honestly I have to keep telling myself if all I had done was FRERs and no digis and clinic tests I would be so happy and positive today, anyone reading I would honestly warn you off mixing and matching your tests it's so stressful im kicking myself I should of known. My original plan was to buy a bulk lot of IC but I couldn't remember my Amazon password and have now spent nearly £100 and stressed myself out loads. Have a good weekend everyone x

Well the FRER is getting darker so ignore the clinic one.
Congratulations and welcome to the waiting game....just when you think the first 2ww was bad you get an even worse one waiting for that first scan! (And then it's bigger gaps between each next step but you'll be a pro AF waiting by then!)

I'm just updating you and spamming you again with tests :) I know it's still a line and I know no one knows If it's a chem or not I just have to sit it out, the FRERS look the same and the clinic test for OTD (tomorrow) is worryingly faint, clinic have took the result and booked a scan for 2 weeks. Really going to try bury my head for 2 weeks and see what the scan brings. Thanks again for the company this week ladies

Yes. Exactly what BifsWif says. Step away from the tests (I take back my recommendation). Take it in, have a great day Smile

My advice would be to step away from the tests - you're pregnant. You KNOW you're pregnant, analysing lines will drive you crazy. A test can't tell you how pregnant you are, just that you are pregnant.

You will panic if one test gives a lighter line but not all tests contain the same amount of dye even if they're the same brand and from the same batch. There are a thousand variables that could mean one day you get a slightly lighter line. I KNOW how hard it is believe me, we had a hard time conceiving this one, but you have your answer in those two beautiful lines. Please try to relax and enjoy xx

You have all made me feel so much better Thankyou! I'm going to stick to frer and fmu only now to save the stress. Seeing those words 'two lines' in writing made me realise I'm being paranoid. Just been 7 long years so I'm in shock still.

Lauren thanks for updating. I really feel for you. So far you've had:

two lines
two lines
two lines
two lines
two lines

You're pregnant right now and unless something changes. Congratulations :)

I recommend the Superdrug early tests, they're much cheaper than FRER with the same sensitivity.
