Weird nipples...

One of my nipples is a bit sore. You know those little bumps on the areola? Well one one nipple a few of them have become a bit enlarged and sensitive, a bit itchy as well. Has anyone else experienced this? It happened in my last pregnancy as well but not until closer to the end.

This is really common in pregnancy.

The bumps are called Montgomery's tubercles, and they make oils to keep the skin lubricated while feeding, hence getting bigger in pregnancy, in preparation. Sometimes they look like little pimples.

You're normal!Grin

Oh good, I was wondering about this - I have had a funny pale puffy patch on the bottom of one or both areola in the mornings. Seems to go down during the day, and not sore, so have decided it can wait for my MW appointment on Monday!

Yep the Lansinoh is already being used. I will probably need more before this baby is even born!

My boobs have been torturously itchy throughout my pregnancy and my areolas are now really dry and flaky!!

Mine get really quite itchy at times, this is my 1st pregnancy so no prior experience but I have been putting a little bio oil on them and this has helped.
