Great news!!!

If your happy that baby is moving and you've had no more brown stuff then don't panic about calling, although make sure you are seen properly if you get any more :)

Hope the rest of your pregnancy runs smoothly :)

Excellent news! I probably wouldn't ring because they won't do anything now everything seems ok. Obviously if any issues come back, ring them immediately.

I would still call. Just for reassurance more than anything x

Are you going to go back today? I hope you get a more sympathetic midwife/nurse! I would refuse to leave until you're examined properly.

Sod the midwifes, go to the hospital! There is nothing worse than a worrying pregnant woman + its better to be safe rather than sorry. I'm sure it won't be anything bad but its making you feel like this then pleaseeee go and see someone :)

Hope your doing ok in every other way Thanks

That is very poor jessjess i wouldn't be happy either! The movement part is partially right, baby is still small but you know your own baby, that added to your concerns regarding fluid they should be checking you out . Hope you get seen tomorrow & i hope all is well x

That's truly shocking, I would of thought they would of at least wanted you in so they could listen to Hb ect. If I were you I would kick up a fuss. where I'm from they have you straight In if you have pains and blood/ fluid/ change in discharge and your sat on a monitor for a good hour with urine sample and everything checked. Fully understandable your pissed off I would be. X

That's really poor practice of them not to offer you any reassurance- in the form of scan etc.
hope you are managing to rest & that you get someone more helpful tomorrow.

No they didn't offer me any reasurrance she was actually quite snotty. Still leaking water and brown stuff so will just have to see how I feel in the morning and give them a ring bk x

It's true, though. They don't expect you to necessarily be able to feel regular movement at this point. The baby is still pretty small and can easily move into a position where you can't feel it move so easily. They like to worry us, these babies!

Only slightly pissed off? I'd be fuming. Did they at least offer you some reassurance, a scan, anything?

jessandalfie · 30/10/2013 13:56

Feeling slighty pissed of, upset!! They want me to monitor it for the next 24 hours they said I shouldn't be feeling the baby move often yet anyway but I know what movement I feel! So another 24 hours of being worried :(

I know it awkward but can you take your DS with you to get checked? I would be really worried if I only felt my DC move once in a day. I'm sure everything is fine but at least then you will be able to get a good nights rest.
