I've been on the ttc #3 thread but now feel I should join a new one! Just tested today and still in shock!

If there is another thread I'd be keen to stick my head in and say hi

Ps what was/is it like having an Xmas day baby, Suzi? I think I'd rather this one was not born in the time between Xmas and NYE but hey, it'll come when it's ready!

Hi all! I'm currently 7 weeks with dc3. Bit worried about how on earth I'll cope (dc are 3 and 20 months at the moment!) but we really wanted a third and with a small age gap too. Also due 23rd dec, poor thing! But having had two miscarriages between dc2 and now, we aren't taking anything for granted and potential birth dates are not a worry. fingers crossed this one sticks!

I am 6 weeks with dc3, already have a ds4 and dd2 and due Xmas day. Dh says I will do anything to get out of cooking the turkey as will be having a section. As for birthdays it's mine and ds's birthdays in nov, dc3 will be delivered just before Xmas and dd is in jan, dh is starting to panic already:) and hoping its not twins ( do run in family ).

Sorry...

Thought I would add my input on cars to fit 3 kids.

My kids are now aged 8y, almost 7y and almost 2y. Our youngest is still in a 'birth to 4y' carseat which is bulky and my older 2 both have booster seats.
We had much panicking over finding a car to fit is but eventually we found our Renault Mégane. They all fit a treat! I think it works because the rear seats are individually moulded rather than a 'bench' type seat. Hope this helps you ;)

So nice to hear there are others in the same boat. I'm 10/11 weeks with DC3 - due Nov and to be honest it even feels weird saying it. Can't get my head around it at all. It just doesn't feel real even though I've already had an early scan (5weeks+6) and saw the little love's heart beating. I suppose I'm waiting for reassurance that all will be ok. I'm 37 and for some irrational reason feel worried. Scan in a week which will be reassuring.

I'm not sure about hypermesis, the second time wasn't as intense as the in the first pregnancy, so maybe ill get away with just about of morning sickness this time - wishful thinking!!

I am dreading telling work already!! I've only been back 6 months from my last set of mat leave Blush

Hi all, am pregnant with DC3. Dd I'd nearly 13 and DS is 8. This one was DH going for vasectomy referral and coming home saying please can we have one more.

Am 10 weeks at the moment, DH convinced is girl, I think is boy, although as long as it healthy I don't mind.

Going to have Harmony test on Monday as had to have CVS with last 2. Mind you had cramps all day yesterday and night before, stopped around 4 this morning but am resting today rather than going into work.

We looking at a Touran or Sharan, will be sad to say goodbye to my lovely estate car though! Dp you guys think you'll have enough room in a normal car? With older kids they don't have stuff just bloody mates with them all if the time. DS seems to have at least one other each night!

We ok for rooms, just got to move Dd up to next floor and redecorate her new room and old room.

It's all very exciting isn't it. Seems to drag on but then I think nearly 3rd of the way through and am bloody terrified!

One thing i'm glad of and that's not being heavily pregnant mid-summer- my feet get puffy at the end of the day when I'm not pregnant so I know I'd suffer hideous swollen ankles. But I have worked out I'll be around 24 weeks for a wedding in August so there goes my plan to wear that lovely fitted shift dress hanging in my wardrobe.....(tho secretly excited about bigger bust (or any sort of bust) that I'll be able to show off in a new dress instead ;-)

Grasshopper- poor you suffering HG in the past- is it always the case that you'll get it again if you got it last time? How many weeks are you now?

My nausea has definitely started but pretty mild and worse in the afternoon/evenings so far......

We've just found out we're expecting DC3, due late December, what a rubbish time of year for a birthday! Smile

Already have DS and DD, 2yrs and 1yr Blush Not to mention work full time and preparing for the onslaught of the horrendous hypermesis I had with the previous two Confused

Sheep: it's a Hyundai Santa Fe (no, I had never heard of them either until about a month ago!). Really pleased with it as not too different from the Freelander we had.

In terms of room-sharing, DS2 went in with DS1 when he was only 8w old and they are now in bunk beds. But DS1 sleeps like a log and DS2 does not. We only have 3 bedrooms and our 'spare' bedroom is also DH's office when he works from home (probably at home 2 - 3 days a week) so until DS3 is sleeping consistently enough to go in with his brothers DS3 will go into the spare room and DH's desk will go into our bedroom. Not ideal but it will have to do.

Fuckwittery: also not looking forward to massive summer bump. DS1 was due 4 Sept so was pg during the summer and suffered from hideously painful swollen ankles. DS2 was due 14 Feb and ankles were fine (no idea whether down to weather or just different pg but suspect weather had a massive part to play). Obviously not been a problem in the UK until this week but feet/ankles have been a bit swollen today and yest so have deployed the Body Shop peppermint foot range in the hope of keeping it under bay. Wishful thinking.

We are getting a ford galaxy, as will. Need space for 4 carseats with the twins. Everyone says they are spacious and cheapish compared to others. Will test drive soon.

Rooms, we have moved our two dcs into same bedroom now so they get used to it before babies arrive. Wobbly start, ds (4)normally conks out at 7pm but DD (2) sings and read out loud til 8.30pm-ish so is currently keeping him awake and he is tired for school. Poor boy.

Have people found they've got bigger much quicker the third time round? I'm 16 weeks and the size I was at about 24 weeks with the other two. I really hope it's a case of fast growth at the beginning and then evening out, otherwise I am going to be mahoosive. Feeling a bit blue about it.

My morning sickness has been sodding awful this time around,it lasts all day, I've never had it this badly before.

As for bedrooms, our two currently share and have the attic convertion as a playroom. I suspect DC3 will co sleep for at least 6 months, probably longer and then we'll have to have a move around...

We don't have a car,I need to learn to drive, and buy a car before this baby arrives!!

I'm hoping we can cram ours in to our current cars though we may find its not possible -car seats are so bulky!

Anyone suffering from morning sickness?? When did it hit? I'm bracing myself....feel a bit queasy but not sure if that's just the curry I had last night -lol!

Hi I am also expecting my DC3 I have a DD4 and a DS 2 so I am going to have my hands full. Found this Pg so much worse than the others but figure its because of my 2 dc who require so much energy.

My EDD is 1st Dec.

Sheep we have a galaxy which even though similar to an smax seems a lot bigger we looked at trading it in but would def get another galaxy, I'm a cm though so need the 7 seats every day. Ours is quite economical too and does about 43mpg.

We're putting DS1 and DS2 in together.
TBH DS2 (3) wakes up at 5.30am every day anyway and wakes up entire house with his singing and then yelling.
Oliver - what car have you got? We are in same boat, looking at Smaxs and Tourans.
