Mild cramping 5 weeks

Hi ladies, I am 5 weeks today and the last day or so had mild cramping (feels like I need to go t the loo) and today I had brown discharge when I wiped but the cramping is wearing off. Is this normal? Can't help but stress!

Thank you rjm17 x I had a little bit of brown bleeding yesterday so am going to the doctors today. Have read thousands of posts this morning on it and hopefully it should be ok x

Firstly congrats!!
I had the same thing and panicked. Went for an early scan and all was fine! They said it could be implantation pains or even stretching pains as ur uterus is preparing for pregnancy.
Try not to worry but just contact doctor if u are. Mine said they don't mind how many times I call to ask questions as they can guarantee I won't be the first to ask it or the last.
