Did you just consistently get bigger, quicker?

With DD I was all bump, all front. I'm very slim, she was
A surprising 8lb9 baby! This bump is the same, but even though
People say I'm still small, I feel bigger, bump is rock solid,
I do have constipation sometimes from iron supplements
But this wouldn't cause me to feel bigger I know!

Just wondered if in 2nd pregnancies you have growth spurts
Then slow down, or just get bigger quicker?

I havent weighed myself for a few weeks, but before falling pregnant I was 52kg(8st 1ish), then at 16weeks i was 59.7kg(9st 4), then at 21+3 I was 63.8kgs(10st 4) but its all bump. I'm 5ft 8, and size 8 usually. I just feel like its so up front, as its rock hard and its not spread anywhere else!

I just wonder if i'm going to be HUGE this time, as at 40+5 with dd i was 75kgs. but as soon as she was born i dropped dramatically again.

and with her i didnt have a lot of water i dont think, she was just big for me. so i more than likely will have a whopper this time! Just wondered if - if you strat of bigger quicker, do you necessarily keep growing at a rapid time or slow down....

interesting to hear your experiences

I'm 18 weeks with no. 2 and feeling massive compared to last time - this time in 1st pregnancy I had only just started to show. I've just started telling people at work and apparently every body has been asking each other whether I'm pregnant for weeks Grin. I've put on 4kg which is quite a lot, I hope I'll slow down in growth at some point.

Similar to the others, I started with the bloat/bump much earlier this time (it appeared around 10 weeks), but at 34+4 yesterday, was measuring spot on for my dates. I've only put on about 2lbs in the last month so can only assume the bloat has been reducing, and been replaced by bump. I'm all up front this time, so convinced its a girl Smile And my bumps rock hard pretty much all the time as well.

I felt like I was massive from about 4 months, but am now 7 and don't seem to have grown much over the last month. Bump measures fine though apparently - I think your muscles are just slacker next time round so things pop out earlier!

Well I'm in my 2nd pregnancy and 28 weeks, at the begginning, at 6 weeks I looked about 4 months was huge! Then it all went so guess it was swelling, I believe I am smaller then I was with my first at this stage, but I think that's because of my weight at the start, I weighed about 9 and a half stone(size 10) before my first, but before my second I was 7 stone 9, and a size 6-8, so I think that could influence the difference. I'm not sure though.
